Feldesman Partner Susannah Vance Gopalan will present a session at the American Public Human Services Association Education Conference on October 21, 2025 in Reno, NV. During “Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) in 2025: The Current Landscape and What’s Next,” Ms. Gopalan will analyze recent updates to the CCBHC law and policy framework.

Throughout the session, Ms. Gopalan will address key implementation issues facing states, including transitions to Medicaid State plan authority, integration into managed care, and navigating changes in federal policy affecting public benefits. She will also discuss challenges and opportunities arising from recent shifts in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)’s policy on grant programs.
