Feldesman Partner Phillip A. Escoriaza will present two general sessions, including the Keynote Session, at the 2025 Silver State Grant Conference in Reno, Nevada on February 13 – 14, 2025. This event gathers national experts, grants managers and state officials from across Nevada to discuss the latest updates and provide strategies in the field. 

On Thursday, February 13, Mr. Escoriaza will kick off the conference with “Uniform Guidance Compliance: Changes to Part 200 and the End of Part 75.” Diving into the many revisions in the updated Uniform Guidance, Mr. Escoriaza will discuss the most impactful changes for federal grantees.

During the keynote presentation, Mr. Escoriaza will share the stage with Nevada grant experts to review the new Administration’s Executive Orders and their effects for federal grantees. From a legal perspective, Mr. Escoriaza will review the current status of the Executive Orders and associated lawsuits. He will also address major concerns of grantees, including freezes and pauses, the possibility of early grant terminations, and added terms and conditions.
