Feldesman Partner Phillip A. Escoriaza will deliver the opening keynote at the Silver State Grants & Procurement Conference in Las Vegas on September 1-3, 2026. 

Mr. Escoriaza will kick off the conference with “The Future of Federal Grants: Policy Shifts, Emerging Trends, and What Comes Next.” With federal grants requirements continuing to evolve, Mr. Escoriaza will explore potential changes to the Uniform Guidance and agency policies. He will also share key considerations for local governments, nonprofits, and other federal award recipients as they prepare for future developments while meeting current compliance obligations.

Following the keynote, Mr. Escoriaza will participate in “Navigating Complex Grant Challenges,” a live technical assistance discussion focused on avoiding common grant management pitfalls.  The session will highlight strategies for maintaining strong policies, procedures, and compliance practices amid ongoing changes in federal grants administration.
