Feldesman Partner to Present at AHLA Medicare and Medicaid Institute
Feldesman Partner Kathy S. Ghiladi will speak at the American Health Law Association’s Medicare and Medicaid Institute, a leading national conference on Medicare and Medicaid policy and compliance, taking place March 18–20, 2026, in Baltimore, Maryland.
Ms. Ghiladi will present “Safety Net Providers in the Medicare and Medicaid Programs and the Anticipated Consequences of the OBBBA.”
Her presentation will examine the anticipated impacts of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) on safety net health care providers, including federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), rural health clinics, and safety net hospitals. She will also discuss the law’s approximately $50 billion rural hospital grants program and its potential implications for rural health systems.
