Feldesman Partner Scott S. Sheffler will speak at the Grant Professional Association’s GrantSummit in Denver from October 30 – November 2, 2024. Mr. Sheffler will pull from his extensive experience advising federal grant and government contract recipients to provide attendees with productive educational experiences.

On Saturday, November 2, Mr. Sheffler will host two sessions, “Federal Grants 101 – The ‘Deal’ You Strike with Uncle Sam” and “Indirect Cost Rates Simplified.” During Federal Grants 101, he will discuss the key grant management requirements and concepts fundamental to proper administration of a federal award and offer compliance tips for the top risk areas. In his second presentation, Mr. Sheffler will detail indirect cost rates, walking through the development, management, benefits, and drawbacks of negotiated agreements.
