Feldesman Partners to Present at AHLA’s Medicare and Medicaid Institute Conference
Feldesman Partners Kathy Ghiladi and Susannah Gopalan will speak at the American Health Law Association’s Medicare and Medicaid Institute taking place March 26 – 28 in Baltimore, MD.
Ms. Gopalan will share her vast experience working with community health centers and other health care providers during her session, “Recent Advances in Behavioral Health Coverage and Payment in Medicare and Medicaid Programs.” During her presentation, Ms. Gopalan will explore recent changes in Medicare and Medicaid payment models, including substance use disorder treatment, certified community behavioral health clinics, and intensive outpatient program services.
In “Safety Net Providers in the Medicare and Medicaid Programs,” Ms. Ghiladi will delve into organizations charged with providing affordable health care in communities across the country. Ms. Ghiladi, whose robust practice focuses on Medicare and Medicaid payment, reimbursement, and compliance issues, will discuss services offered by federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), rural hospitals, and critical access hospitals. She will also touch upon possible repercussions of cuts to the government-sponsored health insurance programs.
