Feldesman Partners to Present at Community Behavioral Health Association of Maryland’s Annual Meeting
Feldesman Partners Kathy Ghiladi and Adam J. Falcone will speak at the Community Behavioral Health Association of Maryland’s (CBH) Annual Meeting on Thursday, May 29, 2025, in Columbia, MD.
Ms. Ghiladi will present “Reporting Political Contributions: Maryland State Law Requirements,” which will focus on two state law provisions that trigger political contribution reporting obligations for business entities. Her session will also address when individual contributions may be attributed to an organization and offer guidance on developing internal policies to ensure compliance with Maryland State Board of Elections requirements.
Mr. Falcone will lead two sessions on “Audit Best Practices.” In the first, he will outline key strategies for managing audits, including preparation tips, effective communication with auditors, and establishing internal protocols. In the second session, Mr. Falcone will discuss how to implement a robust compliance program using the latest guidance from the Office of Inspector General (OIG).
