Feldesman Partners to Provide Federal Grants Update at NCURA Annual Meeting
On August 11, 2025, Feldesman Partners Mindy B. Pava and Ted Waters will present on the rapidly changing federal grants and enforcement landscape at the National Council of University Research Administrators’ (NCURA) 67th Annual Meeting in Washington, DC.
Ms. Pava and Mr. Waters will first facilitate Navigating the Changing Federal Landscape – Court Challenges and Other Legal Considerations, a discussion group with leaders from the nation’s research institutions. Drawing on their extensive legal experience in federal grant law, including grant terminations and successful appeals, Ms. Pava and Mr. Waters will provide insights into shifting legal frameworks and offer strategies to anticipate the challenges the Administration’s ever-changing regulations may bring.
During Trumping Federal Grants: How Research Institutions Can Combat the New Administration’s Funding Shift, Ms. Pava will address changes in the Administration’s federal funding policies and priorities. Throughout her presentation, Ms. Pava will offer practical advice for research institutions grappling with an altered federal grants landscape and uncertain funding future.
