Sacramento, CA – Feldesman Leifer LLP is pleased to welcome Gabriel S. García as a Partner, effective April 1st, 2025, in the Firm’s Sacramento, California office. Mr. García brings more than two decades of experience advising health care providers, technology companies, and medtech startups on navigating today’s evolving regulatory landscape.

Known for his strategic counsel in compliance, health information technology, and provider-pharmaceutical contracting, Mr. García has been instrumental in guiding clients through complex regulatory challenges, including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act, and merger and acquisition transactions.

In addition to his health care work, Mr. García has a broad corporate law background. He has served as a trusted advisor to nonprofit trade associations such as the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, CalPACE, and the United CORE Alliance, and has counseled boards of directors, private equity funds, and charitable foundations on governance, regulatory issues, and strategic planning.

Mr. García earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he served as Executive Editor of the Berkeley Business Law Journal. He also holds a B.A. from UC Berkeley and an LL.M. in Taxation with distinction from Georgetown University Law Center.

He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and has shared insights through the Sacramento Business Journal, the California Primary Care Association, and the Theodore Tannenwald Jr. Foundation.
