Wendy Ortega

Wendy Ortega is based in the California office. Ms. Ortega focuses her practice on health care litigation and regulatory matters, with an emphasis on provider-payor disputes.

Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Ortega served as a law clerk and, later, an attorney with a boutique California law firm, where she engaged in all aspects of provider-payor litigation.

Before attending law school, Ms. Ortega worked as a paralegal and later as a law clerk for the Sacramento office of an international law firm, again with a focus on provider-payor disputes. Prior to and while in law school, she also worked as a legal student assistant, employee, and legal intern for a state agency, working with the agency’s legal and program teams on a variety of administrative and regulatory projects.
