Kirsten N. Haalboom is an Associate in the firm’s Health Care practice group. Ms. Haalboom focuses her practice on advising health care providers in contract negotiation, litigation, arbitrations, managed care payment disputes, risk management, denials and reimbursement recoveries, and administrative legal proceedings. She represents hospital systems, single-clinician practices, multi-physician groups, nursing home facilities, and allied health care practitioners.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Haalboom practiced at a civil litigation law firm in Maryland, where she represented and advised health care organizations in claims and litigation related to patient care, insurance and provider compliance with state code. In addition, Ms. Haalboom previously served as the Director of Philanthropy for the National Lutheran Communities and Services.

Ms. Haalboom currently serves on the Board of the Primary Care Coalition, a local nonprofit dedicated to building better, more inclusive health systems. She also serves on the Board of Women Solve, a non-profit focused on health and social justice initiatives.
