Feldesman Leifer LLP Announces Two New Partners
Feldesman Leifer LLP (Feldesman) is pleased to announce that Rosie Dawn Griffin and Mindy B. Pava have been promoted from Counsel to Partner effective January 1, 2024.

Meet Feldesman’s Newest Partners
Ms. Griffin, a member of the firm’s Litigation & Government Investigations, Federal Grants, and Health Care practice groups litigates in federal district and appellate courts nationwide. Her clients are a diverse group of federal grant recipients and government contractors, including Federally Qualified Health Centers, Head Start programs, institutes of higher education, and other nonprofit and for-profit entities receiving federal funding. Ms. Griffin has significant experience counseling and defending clients facing investigations and litigation under the False Claims Act and similar statutes. She brings deep knowledge to this work, and a unique perspective, having formerly represented whistleblowers. Ms. Griffin’s years of experience allow her to guide clients through all phases of a government investigation, from responding to civil investigative demands and subpoenas to disclosure considerations and litigation.
Ms. Griffin, a Maine native, earned her B.A. from the University of Maine, summa cum laude, and her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, cum laude. She began her legal career at the Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review, where she served a two-year DOJ Honors Program clerkship in Immigration Court. In law school, Ms. Griffin litigated on behalf of victims of domestic violence and received multiple commendations for her international human rights pro bono work. She was named to the Washington, DC, Super Lawyers Rising Stars list (2023).
Ms. Pava, a member of the firm’s Litigation & Government Investigations, Federal Grants, Health Care and Education practice groups, focuses her practice on advising recipients of federal funding as they navigate all facets of judicial review. Ms. Pava represents organizations in health care, education, and other industries in responding to audits, civil investigative demands, and federal subpoenas. She has represented clients in federal and state courts in matters ranging from Medicaid and Medicare rate-setting disputes to eligibility status for Paycheck Protection Program loans and has considerable experience in challenging disallowances before agency appeals boards. Ms. Pava’s extensive litigation background, especially in discovery-related matters, equips her to assist clients with the complexities of government investigations.
Ms. Pava earned her B.A. from Northwestern University and her J.D. from Emory University School of Law, cum laude. Before joining Feldesman, she worked as a senior litigation associate at a large national law firm, focusing on complex commercial litigation and class action litigation. She has been recognized on the Washington, DC, Super Lawyers Rising Stars list (2015-2022) and selected as an Associate Fellow, Litigation Counsel of America (2021-2023). Before attending law school, Ms. Pava worked as a newspaper reporter, where she reported on education at the local and statewide levels.
