Today, FTLF Partner Kathy S. Ghiladi will speak at the Maryland Community Action Partnership’s (MCAP) Annual Human Services Conference taking place May 2-5 in Bethesda, MD. During her session, “At the Core of Success: An Engaged and Supported Community Action Board,” Ms. Ghiladi will discuss how, as recipients of federal funding, community action agencies and their Boards are subject to special legal requirements. She will also offer practical tools and strategies for promoting Board engagement and ensuring Board members are properly supported in carrying out their duties.
