FTLF attorneys Molly S. Evans, Matthew S. Freedus, and Michael B. Glomb will lead discussions at the Community Health Institute (CHI) & Expo Conference, taking place August 27-29, 2023, in San Diego. During their sessions, the partners will address crucial areas for health center programs.

On Sunday, August 27, Ms. Evans and Mr. Freedus will present “The FTCA Program: A Critical Program for Health Centers in Leveraging Their Resources.”  The attorneys, who specialize in FTCA matters, will highlight and explain the core elements of the FTCA program, its benefits, and how health centers can minimize the likelihood of claims or suits not being covered.

Mr. Glomb’s session, “Maximizing Fundraising Potential with Health Center-Based Foundations,” will take place on Monday, August 28. During his presentation, Mr. Glomb, the firm’s lead attorney for federal income tax exemption matters, will examine the legal and governance considerations for health centers establishing a foundation.
