With a distinguished background in business transactions, nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations, commercial and health care law, Ms. Lee brings a wealth of experience that will significantly enhance the firm’s capabilities.

Ms. Lee’s practice is centered around acquisitions and sales of businesses, business counseling, governance and tax-exemption matters, contract negotiation and preparation, corporate mergers, and joint ventures. Her pragmatic approach to legal matters provides clients with practical advice, grounded in a comprehensive understanding of board dynamics, stemming from her extensive service on the boards of over 20 local, statewide, and national nonprofit organizations. Notably, she has held numerous key roles, including chair and chairs of numerous committees.

A distinctive aspect of Ms. Lee’s professional background is her work providing high quality board consulting and governance training to the nonprofit sector. She also has specialized training in implicit bias and matters of diversity, equity and inclusion. Actively collaborating with boards and staff, she has played a pivotal role in addressing these critical issues within organizations.

She is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.
