Recent challenges of the 340B Drug Discount Program were a focal point of a March 26, 2024 article in Law360. The publication also highlighted the recent arrival of Feldesman Partner Steve Kuperberg and his longstanding commitment to nonprofit organizations and 340B covered entities.  

In an interview covering challenges to the 340B program and its perilous future, Mr. Kuperberg stressed the crucial nature of the program, which allows low-income and uninsured patients access to life-saving medications and contributes income for community health centers and other 340B participating providers. Mr. Kuperberg also mentioned that while drug manufacturers and others have partially rescinded their participation in the program, states, such as Arkansas and Louisiana, have passed legislation to combat some of these restrictions.
